VITA

Ti osservo vita su queste brillanti acque,
nel volo di affamati gabbiani,
tra queste candide nuvole dove i miei pensieri si adagiano.
Ti ascolto nel chiasso di bambini in festa.
Ti sento vita nel tepore di questo pomeriggio assolato,
nell’odore di questo gelsomino in fiore.
Ti medito nel silenzio di questo rosario sgranato da una anziana donna.
Ti desidero vita nei miei occhi bramosi, riflessi da questa luce:
nel suono del mio intimo respiro,
ti vivo.

I look you life on these shining waters,
in the flight of hungry seagulls,
between these white clouds where my thoughts lay.
I listen you in the children’s noise in gaudy
I feel you life in the warmth of this sunny afternoon,
in the smell of this jasmine in bloom.
I meditate you in the silence of a rosary grained by an old woman.
I wish life in my longing eyes reflected by this light:
in my intimate breathe’s sound,
I live you.
